Bournedrill Pty Ltd has developed a range of THD drill rigs over the years, with three main objectives in mind:
1. Unit to be of strong, rugged construction.
2. Hydraulics to be simple but powerful.
3. Operator acceptance, ease of operation and maintenance.

With all the Bournedrill THD range, there is a built-in safety margin of up to 20% above their rated capacity.

The design of the rigs is the result of drilling experience gained by our experts in many countries of the world and it has been their endeavours to ascertain that it is sufficiently mobile. Our designers have paid utmost attention to ensure that the establishment on site is minimal, allowing the drilling program to commence swiftly.

The Bournedrill machines are built to fulfil all the fundamental principles of the drilling operation from the drilling, through the casing, up to the completion stage and minimise drilling costs. They are designed for long life and much care has been taken to provide accessibility of all parts and suitable adjustment for all normal wear.

The machines are adequately guarded and built with a wide margin of safety. Their controls have been made as simple and convenient as possible so that the operator can control the drilling operation without effort from one drilling position.
