EXTERNAL FLUSH STEEL DRILL PIPE
BOURNEDRILL offers field proven drill pipe as used with portable drilling rigs for Water Well Drilling, Mineral Prospecting by Mud, Rotary Air Blast or DTH Hammer.
The pipe mid-body is made from material to API Grade 'D' or higher Grade 'E' Specification either plain or internally upset depending on stated requirement.
The Tool Joints are made from AISI 4140/4145 alloy steel, heat treated before machining. Modern computer lathes machine all threads that are gauged to assure conformance to standards.
The Tool Joints are attached to the pipe mid-body by inertia welding process, free of contamination with 100 % penetration, or screwed into the pipe mid-body with chemical locking compound for field replacement.
Standard pipes of 2 3/8" x .281", 2 7/8" x .276"/.362", 3 1/ 2" x .300"/.368", 4 1/ 2" x .337"/.430" are available in metric or imperial lengths.
Metal Thread Protectors are fitted, also Breakout Flats or Lugs can be provided upon request.
